Well, it's been a while since the last post . . . mainly because there's not a lot to tell. The one thing we are waiting to hear is that we have been approved by the North American Mission Board (NAMB). This should be a formality, but it takes time and we can't get any money until it takes place. Since they are providing a large portion of our support, it's very important:) We should be receiving notice at some point this month.

Other than that, I have been spending a large portion of my time preparing for the work in Omaha. I've found a website for a network of church planters (Acts 29) that has been really helpful. They have posted their Boot Camp (training for church planters) online, so i've been able to listen to a lot of it. They are a group committed to communicating the gospel to the culture today. At the same time, they highly emphasize Bible teaching and theology, so it's right up my alley!

I've also been making contact with some of the pastors in Omaha. They are a very helpful group that seems to work well together. They are all excited about the work taking place there and having us join them.

Here are a few things you can pray for:

1. Col. 4:2-6 - That God will open a door for the gospel in Omaha. That I will proclaim the gospel clearly and seize every opportunity.

2. That everything will go well with lining up the move - that we can find a truck at the right time, get everything packed, etc.

3. Adjustment for our family. New friends for us and the boys.

4. Pray especially for Jacqueline as she will be preparing to homeschool Jackson and Andrew for the first time.

5. Leaders to go into the harvest field.
